Warner Bros Archive has announced that they will be releasing a remastered version of the Challenge of the Gobots five-part mini-series on May 17, 2011. Posting a link on their Facebook page, the DVD is now available for pre-order on the WBShop.com for $14.95. The product page also includes a comparison between the Original Master and the Remastered look, including some box art. Check them both out in the gallery.

We bet you have not seen that series logo in a while and neither have we! In a recent exchange on Twitter between Warner Archive and an individual named Nick Simmons, the former revealed that they will release the Hanna-Barbera-produced Challenge of the Gobots series to DVD. An image of the box art is available after the jump.

Hey folks, just wanted to give you the heads up about 4 new Playskool Go-Bots I found today! Head on over to TFU.INFO for images of:
+ Cop-Bot - Buzzer-Bot Motorcycle recolored.
+ Gorilla-Bot - The original Gorillabot in black.
+ Strong-Bot - Pickup Truck, Remolded Flash-Bot.
+ Speed-Bot - Muscle Car, The unreleased Racer-Bot Alpha mold.

Thanks to Tezoo for news and pics that Transformers Go-Bots just keep rolling along with ever more new figures coming our way. The lastest released include new remolds of the the Go-Bot planes Aero-Bot and Silver-Bot that now incorporate new feature called Flying-Fist weapons on both of their hands. Check out the pics of both of these guys in the packaging here.

Two new Go-Bots, Aero-Bot and Speed-Bot, are "R" Exclusives. I found these guys 8/24/2004 @ the TRU in Dublin, CA for retail price of $7.99 each. The two figures are painted with "GOBRILLIUM" (in other words...chrome). They used the original Speed-Bot mold and painted it in red chrome for Speed-Bot and blue chrome for Aero-Bot. I have taken pics of the figures in their packaging which inlclude the story on the back of the card and tech/specs and instructions. These can be located at The AllSpark.

It seems like forever since we've seen new Go-Bots released. Hasbro has made up for the long wait with a whole new line of figures including some that come in groovy translucent plastic! We were lucky enough to pickup the clear Fire-Bot, Race-Bot Beta the clear purple Roadster and the awesome Preditron that is the Cheetor fig remolded into a new Wolf figure. Check out the gallery of them all HERE.

The third wave of GoBots are now in the stores. There are some familiar faces in cool new colors as well as a batch of fresh new vehicles in this round up including a 4x4 truck, motorcycle and dump truck. The black Reptron is pretty darn cool too. Check out pics of them all HERE.

While doing a little last minute holiday shopping at Toy R US, I unexpectedly happened upon the new Playskool Go-Bots figure Silverbolt. Check out the image gallery featuring the newest deluxe sized figure in the Go-Bots line HERE.

Remy has posted a new gallery with a spotlight on the Go-Bots Formula 1 race car. This is one of the coolest looking Go-Bots yet. Check out the shots of this all new mold HERE.

Remy has posted a gallery of pictures for the Playskool protoype car that we are calling "Areocar" for using the Areobot paint scheme. This is one cool looking car and they make such a cute couple! See the Act 40 pics featuring "Areocar" HERE.

Ever since we saw the pre-views at Toy Fair, the Playskool Transformers toys have garnered quite a bit of attention. Its a wonder what all the excitement is about over these Transformers figures for littler folks. See the review and picture gallery HERE.
